Located in the heart of Frankfurt, The Ivory Club offers a remarkable fusion of Indian cuisine and a steakhouse experience. With both indoor and outdoor seating options, this restaurant presents a cozy yet vibrant atmosphere, ideal for any dining occasion. Customers rave about the chicken tandoori with flavorful basmati rice, alongside the delightful naan and the refreshing raita. The Mango Mess dessert has been particularly highlighted for its divine taste, making it a perfect ending to a fantastic meal.
However, its dual concept of Indian and steakhouse has drawn mixed reviews; while some patrons adore the exclusive fusion offerings like butter chicken and fillet mignon, others find the combination unusual. Dishes like pani puri, lamb shank, and tandoori prawns are celebrated for their bold flavors. The atmosphere is enhanced by attentive service and a unique jungle-themed restroom, adding to the restaurant's allure.
In conclusion, The Ivory Club is a must-visit for those craving an exotic yet sophisticated dining experience in Frankfurt.

Based on 1,156 reviewsThe Ivory Club in Frankfurt garners consistent praise for its flavorful and authentic Indian cuisine, with many reviewers highlighting standout dishes such as chicken tandoori, naan, and inventive fusion options like Indian-inspired tacos. The restaurant’s ambiance is frequently described as atmospheric and stylish, contributing to an overall memorable dining experience. Guests appreciate attentive and professional service, which complements the quality of the food. While some note the higher price point, it is generally considered justified by the quality and portion sizes. A few patrons have expressed mixed feelings about the combination of Indian cuisine with steakhouse offerings, but the overall consensus paints The Ivory Club as a premier destination for those seeking sophisticated Indian flavors in a modern setting.
Outstanding Indian cuisine restaurant that offers both indoor and outdoor seating areas, known for its exceptional service. The chicken tandoori along with basmati rice were absolutely fantastic, and I thoroughly enjoyed the naan, raita, and mango chutney. To top it off, the Mango Mess dessert was delightful. I will definitely be returning for another memorable dining experience.
The restaurant is on the more expensive side. They are an Indian cuisine and a steakhouse at the same time. To me it’s a weird combination. Personally, I don’t enjoy smelling Indian food while eating a steak. Thought I’m willing to budge for a steak this good. I had their fillet mignon cut, which comes a side of your choice. I choose the fries which were good. Also, I shared a salad, but I didn’t like it as much.
For the longest time, I thought the UK had the best Indian food in all of Europe. That all changed tonight when I tried Frankfurt’s best offering. Tucked right under the deutsche bank towers is The Ivory Club - a dark, alluring glimpse into the finest most flavorful Indian cuisine. The food is spicy and delicious, and some of the cocktails are quite literally on fire. Skip taking out your phone in the dark environment to read the menu and just order what we did: the pani puri, palak paneer, onion bhaji, and butter chicken. Top it all off with garlic naan, a few flaming caipirinhas, and the chocolate mousse - you’ll have yourself quite a night!
We came here for dinner on Wednesday night on the recommendation of a friend that lives in Frankfurt. The interior of the restaurant is such a cool vibe, very dim and atmospheric. The restroom also leans into the vibe with a full on jungle atmosphere that I found delightful. Service throughout our meal was incredibly attentive with our waitress helping us to make some difficult decisions given the fact that the whole menu looked amazing. For starters we got the pani puri, crispy fried pakora spinach and a side of curry vegetables. For dinner we had the chicken tikka, tandoori chicken, lamb shank, tandoori prawns, tarka dhal and naan. I would be hard pressed to choose a favorite dish because we truly loved everything. It was a great final dinner for our vacation and would highly recommend this restaurant to friends.
This place is really good overall, both in terms of food and service. That said, this is expected given the price. Some nice surprises: the naan portions were bigger than expected (see photos), and also the dishes come with rice. Some interesting fusion ideas: the tacos for instance were excellent. This was phenomenal. On the other hand, the caprese was OK: the burrata works well with the chutneys and papaya, but it was lots of flavours together and it was difficult to taste everything very well. In terms of starters, tacos were best, followed by the pani puri. The chaat was very basic, just a normal salad. Would not recommend personally. Mains were quite good! I loved the butter chicken though my family likes it sweeter. I thought it was perfect. The tandoori chicken was seriously succulent… still surprised they got chicken breast to be that soft! The lamb shank… falling off the bone. The mango curry was okay; mango flavour overpowering and the chicken slightly powdery. The tikka masala had a similar powdery texture, but the sauce was very difficult to what I’ve had before (it was OK). The naans were very doughy, I’ve had better elsewhere.
One of the best dining experiences that Frankfurt has to offer. This India-inspired restaurant offers excellent and not commonly found Indian dishes, as well as some of the best steaks Frankfurt has to offer. It is pricey but well worth the money. The staff is friendly and experienced, which one can’t take for granted in restaurants anymore.
